包芯纱线(CSY)由以下两部分组成：(1)芯丝，通常是高强低伸长的涤纶长丝或高弹性合成长丝；(2)纤维护套，如棉、聚酯、粘胶和阻燃织物。

如今，CSY制造的服装越来越受欢迎。其原因在于，当芯丝和纤维护套结合时，不仅可以相互补充，而且可以在各自的优势之间产生协同作用。如棉涤纶CSY，一方面具有涤纶长丝的特点：强度高、无折痕、易洗、快干；另一方面，受益于棉纤维的优点：高吸湿性，少静电，不起球。这种CSY可用于生产校服、工作服、衬衫、浴袍、床上用品等。此外，CSY线还具有良好的耐磨性和耐热性，这使得CSY适用于高速缝合。

浩纬目前生产的CSY材料有：缝纫用的CSY，服装用的CSY等。

Core Spun Yarn (CSY) consists of (I) core filament, usually polyester filament characterised by high tenacity and low elongation, or high-elasticity synthetic filament, and (II) fibre sheath, such as cotton, polyester, viscose and flame retardant fabric.

Nowadays, CSY-made apparel is becoming increasingly popular. The reason lies in the fact that, when combined, the core filament and the fibre sheath not only become mutual complements, but also create synergies between their own advantages. For example, Cotton-Polyester CSY on one hand owns features of polyester filament: super strength, no crease, easy wash and quick dry; and, on the other hand, benefits from the advantages of cotton fibre: high moisture absorption, less static electricity and no pilling. This type of CSY can be used for the productions of school uniforms, working suits, shirts, bathrobes, beddings etc. Furthermore, CSY threads also have good performance in terms of wear and heat resistance, which make CSY suitable for high speed stitching.
